Im using Boomerang's HeloCargoTransport Script Version 1.0, with some modifications.
My modifications are only to start from a landed position and return to landed position after drop.
I have included a test mission: TESTDROP.INTRO
On radio Alpha, a CH-47 picks up an M113 and drops it on an invisible helipad.
The problem:
If the drop location is farther than approx 1000 meters from the start point, the chopper will not take the cargo to drop location, it simply hovers with cargo attached.
On the other hand, if the drop location is within approx 1000 meters of the start point, all goes as planned. (i placed markers and flags on the test map to show the test distances)
Ive been going over and over the script and i cant make sense of why the script wont work over longer distances (lol, i even tried using "lighter" cargo but same problem, as this script doesnt account for weight)
Any ideas?
