velocity vehicle question?
« on: 25 Dec 2005, 07:27:59 »
How do I use this?  What I would like to do is have my helo when on approach start slowing down before it gets to the "land" ing pos.  I am calling the helo in by radio.  I need the helo to slow down so it does not pass up the spot where I want it to land then turn around and land.  I would like the helo landing to be as smooth as possible.  Need help.

Choppers are horrible.     There are a variety of chopper scripts and tutorials in the Editors Depot.  Don't even think about trying to make a chopper do anything without using one of them.  Even with them it can be tricky.
Plenty of reviewed ArmA missions for you to play

What I have noticed is when you tell a helo to land, the AI automatically faces the helo to the east.  How can I stop that from happening?
