That looks very nice!  Texture work is outstanding. One question: Is it configured like a rifle or is it a pistol that just uses the rifle anim?

finaly its done, i gota test this. ;D

thanks for making it,

wow, its great, i like that sound,
its a great model and texture job too.

only thing is it sounds a little slow ROF. so i dpboed it(hope you dont mind :)) and it looks like youve got  it set for .17 seconds between each round, i havent done any addons so i might be looking at the wrong thing but i did the calculations and,

.17 = 12.20 rounds per second = 610 rounds per minute.
IMO, you should set this a little higher. the real rate of fire is

800  rounds per minute = 13.33 rounds per second
= .045 seconds between each round. i think ;).

but i dont know, and its your gun so i wont change it because  its your gun and i dont want to infringe on your addon, i also dont really know how to change it, im sure theres more than one value or somthing you have to ajust, i just thought id make a sugjestion ;D

anyways, its a real good gun,  is there any plans of a non supressed version?  i can get the sound,, if you want, from rainbow six 3. :)

thanks

EDIT:by the way, real nice of you to put the player right infront of a MG in the demo mission, no matter how many times i try, the MG always gets me before i can take a single step. lol,  :)

I tried out the weapon, and I have to say it is quite nice.  The textures are good, although there are a few areas on the gun where the textures are stretched (pic).  I did notice that it is quite powerful.  One shot usually kills.  It's like a mini G36a :P  It is supposed to be so powerful?

@penguinman
ya, I will make the firing rate a little faster. It wouldnt take that long to make a unsupressed version of the TMP I think I will make it, so I guess you should sending over the sound :)

btw your supposed to go prone very fast in the mission  ;)

@Student Pilot
Ill fix the texture stretching on it, the TMP only has a bullet power of 10 which is about as strong as a m21 or svd :P . That will be changed to a lower number

Thanks guys for the tips ;D

Wow, that's my kind of gun :P

One more thing I noticed, penguinman said he really liked the sound, but is that really the sound the gun makes?  I thought silenced weapons could only be heard from the movement of the bolt?

Anyway, this is a nice gun, I will certainly be keeping it in my addons folder.

@STudent pilot
yes scilenced weapons can but this isnt scilenced, its suppressed ;)

@oyman
well, theres a small problem, the sound is in uax file format, i have nothing to play it or even convert it to anything, do you have a program that can?

i think a dammage setting of 5 is good.

9mm, rounds do about half the dammage of a 5.56

also maby you should increase magazine capactiy, it looks like it has a big magazine.

I think I might have something that will convert .uax to .wav so if you send the file now that would be great. :)

I updated the gun right now, so far I changed bullet damage and upped the firing rate

ok here it is, i also have a TMP magazine reload sound, and a supressed sound, il send all 3.

and maby you should also make the weapon a little less acurate when firing in full auto, its  maximum effective range is 25m,

thanks

hmm, a unsuppressed version might not be possible at this time.
I cant find something that will convert .uax to wav or something plus i thought of how the person would hold the unsuppressed TMP. would have his left hand just hanging in the middle of the air :P

TMP beta .8 released...

http://home.earthlink.net/~r_sandoval916/oyman_tmp.rar

i need to know if the firing rate is too fast or too slow

same with the dispersion

i dont know how to calculate those things into ofp values :-[

I think the firing rate is fine, although I know nothing about this gun.  However, I think the dispersion might be too much.  I can hardly hit anything past 30 meters away.  I suggest you use dispersion values that are somewhat close to the values BIS gave the handguns.

Oh, that's right, he did say that (I guess I should open my eyes ::))  Never mind me, I know nothing about guns and have gotten too used to BIS's values ;D
