Volcano!!

Yo dudes, im giving an idea that will make ofp islands look a lot more realistic... how about creating Volcanoes.. that ones that erupts, spit lava etc.. this would be a fantastic addon!

I think this is not possible with the OFP Engine :-\
I only know one realistic Island but there are so many objects and trees and she is small and your PC would not work if you try these Island , i have an AMD 2200XP (2200Ghz , 512MB Ram) and the Island don't start and the PC gives up

well even that one is still not to realistic, 5 meters is still just to far for cells, but there getting close.

Now if they found a way to have some cells be 50 and the places where elevation changes be like 3, then it wouldnt be as laggy

Look for Stunt island, pretty small and crappy, but had some sort of volcano. Spouted smoke and had a large drop to it. But like I said, pretty bad island unless you're using nitro scripts. ;D

i have stunt island, i never saw it spurting smoke but there is a 1000m high volcano type thing

i prefer the 10km pillar, its fun with a halo guy

Didn't someone make a giant fortified hill for vietnam era playing, but it was really four objects you had to put together? It might end up like that if you made it one addon, or just a big file size.

Wow! Fantastic, great work serial Killer.... this one will sure be good when it is finished... Also, if people like this, will you start making more volcanoes? You know, more flatter volcanoes, smaller volcanoes etc etc... this is a good model so when it is finished, i bet it will be great..

one thing tho, i have never known anybody usng my ideas so thanks alot Serial Killer :superthumbsup: ;D

Just a little nugget I'd like to add.. If you have artillery firing from inside the volcano it'll make like lava balls spewing out of it. or camcreate shells or something. eh eh EH?
