Voice volume

I'm making custom voices to my mission, but they could be louder.

Setting the loudness by the sound editing program (Nero Wave edit) doesn't change it. I also tried changing the Db value in the description.ext.

Does anybody know how the volume can be changed? (I remember the voices being abit quiet in the official campaign too).

Wooops.... forget about this unless you have problems with the volume.

I learned that  setting the loudness by sound editing program does work, but you just have to add it quite a LOT.....

It's very hard to make sound files that are loud enough.   I suspect the only way is to make the original recording in such a way that there is scope for considerable volume increase.
