M1 abrams

has anyone made the original abrams, not the M1A1 or A2 but the old abrams with the 105mm gun and the RHS armor no DU or Chobham(spelling)

last M1 i saw was in a National Guard unit but in 85 they were probably still front line tanks

tis states that 1985 is when the first A1's were delivered so the originals would still be main battle tanks they would look similar except the gun would be different and the armor characteristics would be less

i guess somewhere comparable to a T72  but far better than an M60

the cannon would probably be slightly better than the M60 but not much since it seemed to be a revision of the M60 gun

AFAIK all abrams tanks have chobham armor.
You can tell by the non-curved shape of the turret because chobham can't be shaped (sp?) in anything else.

And Sigma's tank pack is very good. ;D

i dunno the tanker i talked to said it was just plain ole RHS but that doesnt mean he was right...ig ot that pack its pretty good
