nope still wont work, it might work for you because its your site or you are logged in or something, ive tried with both getright and just normal windows dl neither worked

 ;D  Nice addon!  Here's my review, I'll be as nit-picky as possible:

I noticed something a bit off with the chopper at first glance.  I realized it was the demo UH60 model.  With that comes a few bugs like a small white patch on the side, the doors looking as if there is no glass in them, and the internal textures flickering when looking through the propellors.

Anyway, to the gun...

The sound is okay, but it is a little too long, so if you fire one shot it will be still sounding off.  I would recommend either making the weapon fire in long bursts (may not be realistic, then) or shortening the sound somehow.

The actual model is nice, I would recommend having a spinning barrel, if possible.  That would be an excellent touch.  Also, you may want to make the ammunition belt go further back so it does not hang outside when the gun is pointing forward.  Also, correct me if I am wrong, but is the gun floating?  A simple pole going to the ground would be good, or whatever you see best.

The texture is also very nice.  If possible (I do not know how textures are applies) could you make the rings around the barrels not have those horizontal lines, and have a texture for the ends of the barrels too?

One non-cosmetic bug is when gunning, the aiming view (what you get when you hit the insert key) does not have the same range of motion of the gun, and so you cannot aim as low as the gun normally can.  In addition, the way it is positioned, the player's eye is inside a top part of the gun, so you can see little lines.

On the good side: the bullets disperse nicely, there is no silly explosions where the bullets hit and the choice of firing rates is great.  It sure is a hell of a lot more effective than the .50!!!  ;D

One last thing.  I made a small mission where my chopper is overlooking a small crowd of civilians.  When I open fire on them (I am a very bad man) they start flying around!  It is fun to see, although I am not sure if this is a bug or not...

Cheers for the review chomps, heresw some answers:

1. Thats the demo model, so i can't do much about that without entirely re-working the chopper.

2. I could shorten the sound, but who fores off one shot of a minigun anyway? ;)

3. It is impossible, with the coding currently available, to have the barrels spin, AND the gun to move - note the AH-1 pre 1.75, and post 1.75

4. I will sort the rings around the barrel, as i'm going to modify/partially remake the gun for Ballistic's work. And i dis apply textures to the end of the barrel, but it seems that O2 has not saved the code (I probably pressed the wrong button!  ::))

5. The aiming problem probably means i need to tweak the config, and the lines you see when in weapon view, are the mounting rail for any type of sight: Iron, Image intensifying etc.

6. The reason they fly around is because of the power of the ammunition!

Well i cant get it to work. The game doesn't crash or anything when i load a mission with the UH-60 M134  in it but instead you cant see the helicopter and just starts falling. It falls to around -40000 or something in a few seconds!? You can get out on to the island ok though. This also happens with Capt Moores Black Hawk Down choppers (little birds?) but i've got those working fine before? whats happened?

I haven't got a clue mate, this is the first problem of this nature i've heard of ever.  ??? ??? ???

Try re-installing ofp, and resistance, to see if that helps, if not ask on the official forums to see if they have any solutions.

Man this gun is great fun!!! Hehehe i only use it on 6000rpm, It would be much easier to hit people if aiming view follwoed the gun dwon....YOu must fix this !!!  ;)

I will mate, don't worry.

As i have said before, i'm working on the Ballistic Addon Studio's MH-60L, and the minigun will be based on a re-work of the minigun you see in this addon (IRL the UH-60 doesen't have an M134, only the specialised versions, such as the MH-60 have the M134)

And once this addon is finished you will never remember the "old" uh-60 with M134 addon...  ;)

an idea about the spinning barrel thing!!  maybe
could you use 2 textures that are slightly diff. and alternate back an forth every half sec. so as to give effect of spinning without actually spinning.really it only needs to look like it is right? just an idea anyway dont know if thats possible even but thought i would comment anyway ;D

Well, having read the 1.85 patch info, there is a section on:

Now this could mean that BIS is introducing a new animation, and this might mean we can have rotating and aiming weapons, so hold on and v2 of this addon will be out soon after 1.85 patch!
