putting missions in editor

hello all

i have been searching round the forums looking for things as you do, and i have oticed that alot of people say that of you want to find something out just put one of the missions in the editor and open it up?

however when i try this it says that the file is read only and it dosnt open i am just left with a blank map?

could someone please explain what i am douing wrong?

You need to dePBO it with a tool. Search for DePBO in the ed depot.

I got the de-pbo by Amalfi, extremely easy to use. After you have de-pbo'd the file, you can simply move it into your own mission folder. For those who dont know, look in your OFP folder, go to users---> your user name ---> missions, and put it there.
