Boy wouldn't that be nice huh, a nice B-52 to bomb the iraqis and Russians, or who ever.  Is some one making one, i would certainly like to know.

See, the problem is that the B-52 is a big plane, and needs a big runway, and has a big turning radius, and a high flight altitude, and I doubt it would work with ofp, or even resistance.  Good Idea, but an attack plane like the Su-25 would work alot better

Once more BIG MAPS ARE NEEDED the C-130 will is not be a good aircraft in OFP the maps are too small it will be the same with a B-52 you take off you gain a bit of height then you are all ready off the map :-\ it could be cool none the less... if the maps were bigger

you can still make it seem like a b52 using a bombing run script......you couldnt see the thing cos its up so high anyway. i dont actually know what the script is......i had it somewhere......looks like it has disappeared.......

Are you nuts? the maps in opfp are HUGE allready, only made small by Microsoft flight simulator etc. I already find it hard to run this game with a 2 year-old pc.
Also lets not forget that opfp is made for ground war, originally with only 2 planes.

so who said we can add planes, definately not you, it looks like would like a B-52, to lay 160,000 lbs of bombs on the enemy.  So shut up Cry baby  :moon:

As it has been said it is porbably easiest just to use a script (or if you are felling masocistic create enough triggers and gamelogics) to simulate the effects of a bombing run, We will more than likely end up with a B52 at some point but frankly i have the feeling that sitting at 17,000ft in ofp wouldn't be much fun and you would need to use setview5500 to see the ground(and that will cause mega chugging on most systems).
Oh you could use a B52 for low level bombing but then it is hardly the most nimble of planes is it?

It would be nice to have them even if just as structures on the ground for effect.
And it would be cool to see one flying over.
So who's making it then?
