Armed humvee (again, I know)

I am an avid operation flashpoint editor, and I could really do with an armed humvee. If anybody could sirect me to one (preferably for 1.46) that would be great. and has anybody considered new sounds for ofp? no offence, but some of the sounds on at the moment are relly bad.

I am sure a quick search of any OFP sites in the add on sections wil provide you with what you need.

Sounds are usually different for new add ons. Try Reds weapon pack, it has new weapon configurations and sounds.

If your previous post or someone elses didn't answer your Q then jst post in that one again and it will be the first topic on the list. Otherwise the moderators will come with their beating sticks.... :o

BAS has their amazing Desert Vehicles pack, but you can be sure that it won't be for 1.46 (Which nobody makes addons for).

The wargames league addon pack ( 3.0 is the latest version ) includes a Mk.19 GL armed HMMWV and a 0.50 armed HMMWV as well as loooads of other cool weapons, units and 'beefed up' default BIS equipment  :) 8)
Look on www.virtual-wars.net for it.

they are great (M60, M2, TOW) and they come in desert or woodland camo.

Does the TOW one fire a missile ? I had a previous version where it fired a
bullet .

I'm pretty sure that the OFP engine doesn't allow firing missiles from cars :P .

Yes, but there is a workaround. We at PsyProduction have a MG jeep
that actually fires TOW missiles (and SAM missiles too).
BUT:
- the missile is fired by script, once a target has been engaged
(the target is not pre-set: AI and human players can engage
dinamically, just like they'd do with a normal tank, only ours
is a car class vehicle)
- it's not 100 % reliable, especially on low end system
(we got about 100 % reliability with 20 FPS or more, with 10 FPS
reliability drops to 50%)

What I'm asking you (everybody who reads this) is this: in
view of the above limitations, (and knowing you will not be
credited with any unit you will destroy with this car),
would you like us to continue develoment ? Would you be interested ?

We will release it as a template so an eventual addon maker can adapt
the script for his car model. From then on everybody will be free to modify
the scripts as he wishes. No credit, copyright and that sort of things

- The missile is also fireable while the car is in motion...
