check throttle position
« on: 10 Feb 2004, 09:09:11 »
I am trying to make a script that will make afterburners kick in when the throttle is at 100% ...(to use with a joystick that has a throttle lever)...

The problem is, I dont know how to make the script check the throttle position.
I want it to run the script when throttle is  > 99%

Can anyone tell me how to make the script check this?

Lol... Vektorbosen beat ya to it :) Search the ed depot for "afterburner", and you'll find his afterburner script. That will show you what you wanna know. I he does it by  making a controllable camera, and then checking the speed of the camera. When the player is pressing "e", the cam will be at a certain top speed, and you kick in the afterburner.

Hmm.. can't find it either, but I know it used to be at OFPEC. Oh well, get it at Vektorboson's site:
