More parachuting stuff...
« on: 25 Jan 2004, 22:26:31 »
My parachute drop is almost perfect, with 3 squads of 12 men jumping from 3 chinooks. Occasionally (actually, most of the time) one of the leaders will jump but "miss" his parachute. Any way to fix this?

No, that's not the problem. They're at 120 m, plenty of altitude, but it's like the leader jumps, the parachute doesn't attach, and he plummets...

Are you using a HALO script or is it a standard eject-and-immediately-open-chute jump?

I had this problem when I was making a HALO-MapClick script..
I think the problem was the names of the people to jump was wrong.. So it make the parachute for guy12 instead of guy1.. (If, say, you added a 2 at the end of the name)

If you check the files.. You will prob find a wrong name..
Sorry I can't help anymore than that :(

No, it's a very simple parachute script. It's really wierd. Change one thing, and it works for a few tests, then back to SPLAT!
