"useable" streetlights
« on: 07 Jan 2004, 03:43:06 »
Ok, i am using the Reallight addon, and i can get them to come on with no problem whatsoever.  I am making a co-op using the baracken barracks and would like to use the small huts that have switches in them to "control" the streetlights.  In other words, i want the lights to be "on", then have part of the mission objectives to go in, and by throwing the switch on these little huts, have the appropriate lights go out.
Any suggestions???????
I already know about the "this inflame true" to get them on, just cant get them off, lol
Cant even seem to shoot them out!  Want it to be stealthy, so nading or satcheling is a no-no
Hell, even just a way for the players themselves to switch them off at the lampost would be acceptable

If "this inflame true" turns them on then it would be a good bet that "this inflame false" turns them off.  If you place the lights in the editor, then you must name them.  So "lightname inflame false" should be the right command to turn them off.
