How can I change the colour of the text which is displayed in sidechat?
How do I change the identity displayed in sidechat? Right now my speaker is called Delta Black 1. Can I change it to anything I wish or must it always be Alph, Bravo Charlie, etc.?

sidechat gives one colour.   globalchat another, groupchat another.    I don't know of anyway to change the default colours, but in SP you can usually use these various options to good effect.

Yes, you can change it from delta black to almost anything you like.  The command is setGroupId.   Check the online command ref in the Ed Depot for allowed colours and letters.
