Hmmm healing animation... I think it might be in the animation list somewhere, I'll have to try it...
As for shooting the pilots out as they bail Gary, surely thats far more morbid than just killing them behind the scenes?... I think I'll go with Knut's door locking technique. Such a simple and elegant solution.
I'm not sure my soldiers could deal with the mental trauma of watching a parachuting pilot gracefully descending via his parachute and then collecting a round from some VC sharpshooter. Of course locking the doors of the chopper might not do their mental state much good either if the pilot managed to get a radio message out before he carked it.
"OMG Jim, someones locked the doors!!! What's wrong with those stupid aircraft mechanics!!! We can't get out, we're gonna die!! arghhh..."
Oh and speaking of slack soldiers lying down, I've just discovered that when you set a soldeir to SetUnitPos "UP", he'll stay standing up even when he's dead! Now thats what I call commitment. It certainly leads to some interesting moments in my mission when the happily rescued POW says: "Boy am I glad to see you guys" and promtly falls over dead.
Singing soldiers? I'd watch that for a dollar. What are they singing anyways?
