Names of units inside created vehicles.

Lets start off for exmaple with a Jeep, Now i create this west jeep on my map. As we all know the Jeep will start with a driver in it. Now, does this driver have a unit name?
oR
If not is it possible to give him a name without spawning him outside the vehicles seperatly?

the drivers name is the nameofvehicle + d

if the name of the jeep is "jeep1" the driver is "jeep1d" ...

possibilities:
driver
gunner
commander
