multiplayer soldier type descriptions

i wish to know how to change the type of player in the slots list in multiplayer games.  ie, to change "soldier" or "sniper" to something of my own devising.

Welcome to the forums, seldom

The only way I could see would be to make your own addons.

However this would mean that everyone would have to download your addons before being able to play the mission...

The names displayed are the class names of the soldiers, and to my knowledge that is the only way to change them I'm afraid... ;)

ok thanks for that.

i guess i'll have to go back to using different classes instead of all the same class with different loadouts.
