possible to show flag to one side only?

Is it possible to show the player carrying a flag to his side only? I want friendly units to be able to see a custom flag but don't want the enemy to see it.

I've tried things like this in the client:

?(side player != side flagowner):exit
but still the enemy sees the flag. Is it possible to display a flag to certain players?

what do I have to do to get some help here? Ask questions that have already been answered a 100 times or ask someone to make a script that's already been requested/completed 100 times? Perversely those questions get answered. Surely someone has some idea of an answer. Doing my best to share and work from advice but need some help :)
