WGL missions
« on: 11 Jun 2005, 23:30:25 »
Of all the missions, single and campaign.. I have yet to see an WGL based mission. The infantry combat in WGL is just the best of any mod i have played and I am begging you Mission Makers to do a few. Esp. a campaign. I would like to see a variety including Spec Ops, Grunt Work, Tank Combat, Air Missions, etc. At the very least seeing other missions out there whether custom or BIS made be converted into WGL. Maybe entire campaigns...

I look forward to the responses.  :)

yes this would be a good idea as i too like there addons, but the only bad thing about this is that there units have been designed to be used in mulitplayer type missions. I think thats correct. I did start something awhile ago with these units it was a sp mission were special forces was sent to nogova to capture the leader of the resistance fighters but i got bored of the idea

There're lots of missions for WGL mod (most of them are coop or cti) and you can find them on Squad Engine forum site. Check Maps and editing thread and also WG AddPak & Mission Development thread.
And if you're looking for some convertions - check IT.Q's site here.
I just would like to let you know that this mod is under development at this moment (WGL 5.0 coming soon) so there maybe some problems with playing most of the missions.

Thanks for the help MachoMan but I looked at that one and I am not interested in all the extra addons thrown in there. I examined the Squad Engine board and I didnt know Russin (an acquantence of mine) worked on the WGL mod. So I suppose I could sap stuff out of him if I tried. If you find anything else let me know. Thanks
