this might not go under here but anyway
does anyone know any good files that i can use to edit sound to sound like radio transmissions or even just that squelch noise at the begining and end of a transmission to make it sound like it was a radio sound

I use Roxio sound editor - it comes with the Roxio DVD/CD burning software.  Dexter is very good too.
