Right, i want a marker to be attached the the players location. and as for the text on the marker i want it to be the players's names.

So it wuld show where that player is, Like on MFCTI but instead of Alpha Bravo etc, it shows the name they're using.

Is this possible?  ???

Not possible in OFP.

Reason? One cannot change the marker text after the mission has started. There are no scripting commands to do this.
