Make an apache with an ejections system where the cockpit and nose section and everything in front of the engine detach from the chopper and fall off, while at the same time the rotors rold upwards fro the shaft into a tornado position causing the chopper to fall directly down.  In the back of the nose will be a parachute that will deploy causing the nose to fall safely to the ground, and the inside of the nose will be filled with foam to decrease injury upon landing.  Once the crew has landed, they must break through the foam which has hardened, and chip their way to the door panel and then get out.

Actually the Army has already been experimenting with an ejection system for helicopters so that when they eject the rotors are blown off of the hub a moment before the canopy and ejection seats are fired.  The issue that they have run into is that most helicopters in combat are flying at very low altitude and if they come under fire and go down it is normally faster than they could really get ejected from the aircraft before hitting the ground.  The flaw with your design only much worse.  An ejection seat would at least shoot the crew up into the air to give their chutes time to open.  If the entire forward fuselage was shot off the front of the bird it would never have time, for a chute of the size needed, to deploy before the fuslage struck the ground.  This would hold especially true of attack helicopters that normally use NOE flight and pop-up tactics which are all close to the ground manuvering.
