OFP Registry Code
« on: 05 Jul 2004, 21:49:15 »
I didnt know what section to put this in and I figured it is (kind of) like scripting.  ;)

Ok here's the deal.  I uninstalled my OFP (stupidly) because I figured I was growing much too addicted to it.  Well, now I went to reinstall because it is still the best game out there and now I cannot reinstall because I lost my cd key for the original game (figured i wouldnt ever need it again).  However, there was a registry key left on my old hunk-a-junk computer from the original disc but it is encrypted somehow.  I already told Codemasters about my problem and they are "SENDING ANOTHER DISC ASAP" but you know that will be like a year before it gets here.  Anyways, I was wondering if anyone could help me decrypt it or something because I havent found any pattern at all in the encryption method   >:(

Sorry Sniper_Kyle,

That info would be a little too close to what would be defined as "assisting in piracy" by BIS (i.e. decrypting things relating to CD-Keys & what-not).

So we'll have to lock this thread.
