Addon At Ease .msi Installers

I have a new AAE compliant version of my F/A-18 that I would like to upload to the addon depot. I see what might be a problem where it says allowed file types .zip and .exe. Do I need to zip up the msi installer or did someone forget to edit the webpage  ;D  If I do zip it up is it hosted as a zip or a .msi file? Thanks!
