Hey everyone,

I've got a little problem with loading the grayscale PNG file into wilbur (tutorial 4: page 9). Even the one provided by allie doesn't load.

I keep getting these messages:

Quote
Attempt to read grayscale image file with 16-bit components
Quote
Error Reading File
  C:\pathofthefile\terrainafter.png
  May not be of type
  Grayscale Image Surface (*.bmp;*.jpg;*.png)
Quote
Error opening file "C:\parthofthefile\terrainafter.png:
  Unknown return code (-2)
Does anyone know how to fix this?

I'm not an expert (as I'm sure you can tell from my own thread about Visitor-related issues) but I think you need to open the file as a "Color Texture Image (*.bmp;*.jpg;*.png)" in Wilbur. If memory serves, I encountered the same issue and ended up resolving it that way. That said, I'm getting Visitor crashes later in the tutorial so you may want to confirm with someone who's created an island successfully.

Hope this helps!
