Hint message

I was wondering if there's a way to display a hint window or something similiar while in the camera.sqs mode? Normal hints won't appear.
I'm doing a script which executes the camera mode instead of switching the player to a seagull when he dies and I wanted to display some instructions for newbies so they know how to use it.

I think you have to use a titlecut while in a camera...

Could you explain better, please? :) I'm not sure if you mean ordinary text or something else... Of course, ordinary text could be an option too, but I'd really prefer something like the hint windows.
