Texture tools
« on: 17 Aug 2006, 18:16:28 »
Hi

I want to retexture an object but I cant find the right tools for the job.
I tried Texture Swapping Utility by MikeSchell , but when i load the p3d it comes up with an error saying 'overflow' . When I do select a texture in the list it pops up another error:

Code: [Select]
runtime error '9'

subscript out of range

When I click ok, the program closes.

So I decided to edit the textures in the folder where the p3d is located. I can save the paa/pac as tga and open them in my graphics editor (Jasc Paint shop pro 8 ) and edit them. When I save the tga again and open in texview (im told its used to saving tga as pac/paa) its just a blank square.

So 2 questions :

1) Am I using the right tools
2) If yes.. what am I doing wrong?

Thanks for your help  :afro:
