whats the difference between resistance and cold war crisis addons?

I'm just wondering what's the difference between cold war crisis and resistance addons is? I have Cold war crisis, im considering to buy resistance. is it a way to make resistance addons work on cold war crisis? and when i am making addons with oxygen(o2)how do i make the addons work on cold war crisis?

If you have CWC (As I do) and later add Resistance (as I did), you can then either run CWC v1.46 or Resistance v1.75 - 1.96 ( depending on whether you have applied the updates to the present version or not).

So, you can run either 1.46 or Resistance.
If you run 1.46 then Resistance functionality is not available.
If you run Resistance, all previous functionality is available.
