camera target in vehicles....
« on: 01 Feb 2005, 19:30:55 »
i've had a wee look for this on the board but can't really see anything, so meh, i'll just ask.

i have a cutscene triggering which focuses in on the player. however, if the player just happens to be in a vehicle at the time, something weird happens - the target appears to be where the player got into the vehicle. i realise i maybe need a script to tell when the player is/is not within a vehicle, but how? and how will i know what the vehicle's name is?

thanks meantime
b

EDIT - ach, i should take my own advice and check the comref first - i think i found what i'm after - vehicle player != player

doh!  :-[ always check the comref kids, you know it makes sense ;)
