Nother' Noobie 'ere, how do I make weapons?

Hey, all. I am what they call a noobie 'ere an I wanna know how to make new weapons for OpFlash Cold War (the first one). Now, I'm not like alota other noobies who simply ask people and don't do research. I've read a bit and downloaded several ogg convertors and stuff and Oxygen (to get prepared to make new weapons) but I dunno how to get the actual gunshot sounds into the game, after I convert them (if they work). Is there a good tutorial out there from step one to the last? Thanks.
