Missiles disappear ?!
« on: 05 Jul 2003, 16:49:31 »
Hello,

Finaly I found out how to attach a cam on a missile fired from a plane or heli.
I did it with an addeventhandler "fired" and in my camscript I used nearestobject.

But, i noticed a missile disappears after a certain distance? It keeps on flying (the camera follow)  but the 3D model disappear.

I doesn't happen with the LAW or gustavlauncher (did'n't try shell125    yet)

Is this a OFP-bug, or is this done to save CPU-usage?

Probably, ...

But I found it's not related to distance but to it's speed...so if you change its speed with setvelocity you can see the incoming missile.
