hiya guyz i jus thought i wud tell ya that my pack is out soon with permission forom the owners of the old gulf war mod that was out way back i have put their textures on most of the bis units so now ucan  have a big desert war the pack contains many rair vehicles such as desert m60 desert m2a2  iraq bmp iraq bmp2 iraq republican guard etc wud u guys download it ? i need someone 2 host pics cso my iamges are above 50k

And the question was would we download it..Id say so..as long as they are of good quality..I hate d/l addons that arent finished..full of bugs..eg..afghan pack..(not CATSHITS)..great idea..but a few big probs..Now if we could get all the units needed for CATS island then all will be well

Why so hostile guys?

Let him show the stuff first before moaning around about
good/average/bad quality addons.

That's really not the approach, which is giving addon-makers
the motivation to do something for the comunity.

And even if they are bad (what i don't hope), then you don't
need to download them.

Anyway, i think from reading your first post Cobra, they might
look good, as you were using textures of the GulfWarMod.

Point taken..changing the subject now.. i was wondering if with the current world situation in Iraq..if there definately was going to be Iraq soldiers released....To my knowledge there hasnt been an iraq soldier download ever other than crew..MAAC and MARFY were working on some great looking soldiers but nothing eventuated..I am looking forward to this addon almost as much as CATs island...Good Luck

BTW i have over 30 meg of uncompleted Jordanian,Syrian,Israeli and palestine units that have a few texture probs and config probs..(soldier without weapons)..i got them from Noone who worked with the Lost Brothers Mod..permission is given to get these up to scratch however im an island and mission maker and dont have the skills to do it..maybe you'd be interested after this pack is done Cobra..(or anyone else)

If you are going to be dipicting the Gulf War i got a couple of suggestions

instead of dipicting specific countries try and dipict specific units like 25th Mechinized Division.

Or perhaps even the 3rd Infantry Divison (Mechanized) and the 173rd Airborne Brigade.

That is if you want the ones that are active in Iraq at the moment.
