This may merely be realistic but it's far too powerful (takes out an entire squadron of T80s with one shell). It also has an annoying minimum range.  ???

Still. Looks good.  :D

I think it was the guys from the website that done it, and it does look good, the textures and the model are really great.
However, there is somthing that should be changed, it seems like you can't fire to the front only upwards, so if you see an enemy squad in front of you, you just can't shoot them, it's ok if the main cannon can't but the Machine Gun should be able to do it.
Also as a gunner, you can turn out, which is great since it gives you a much better view for using the Machine Gun, but you can't fire it, when turned out  :-\
With this cpp issues fixed, I think this addon would be twice as good, since it does have great textures, and a great model.

Agree that its way to powerfull. It should only do enough damage to destoy a jeep at the impact area but then have a large damage area.
And also agree that the gun should be able to go lower. Cant hit anything if you are on a hill.
Dont know how it works RL but also seems a little strange that turret cant go 360. Can anyone tell if thats normal RL??
Another problem is when you are firing via the radar it always misses (unless target is within visible range, might be a game engine problem) and hits the same spot each time. They should put a variation in the config so it will scatter the shot more just like real artillery. Also they should add a range meter when in "sight mode" ("v" button default), that changes with the elevation of the gun.
Cool thing would be to only have a little forward view hole (maybe 20% of the screen in sight mode) that doesnt go up and down with the gun, and then two instruments/gauges. One with compas direction other with range/elevation.
That way you could make fire missions in multiplayer maps, where you use the compas heading, elevation/range meter, the map and a spotter to fire at non visible targets/areas.

Acording to http://www.opflashpoint.org/ parts of this model were stolen from the DKM mod, so it has been removed from their site.

Well, for shame, if this is true.

It did look vaguely familiar and also had that whining sound that the ADATS makes (can't recall if this is a BIS thing).

Anywayz, tis' a shame, as I'd really like some legit mechanised artillery.  :(

Incidentally, and to right any miscreant wrong done to them, the DKM mod has some QUALITY addons...

too bad :'(. I was really looking forward to the m109 addon, I was gunner on a m109a3gn in the Norwegian Army, and I just want to fire some more with it.
It's a shame, hope someone else would make a new one. :'( :'( :'( :'(

I knew this was taken from DKM as soon as I got it.  It has the DKM logo on the front!

the turrent can go 360. and the gun can shoot forward on a RL. when we got panzer alarm, i used a sight and a joystick to control the gun. And if someone came along with a tank and you fired a 155mm explosive on them, then byebye 8).

Really, UK_SKA_RULES? Well, I'll have to check that. That's about as cheeky as it gets!!!

This is a shame. I mean, fair enough, no one is making any money out of this stuff, but folks should at least give credit where it is due. And poor CARNAGE deserves all the credit he gets!
