RAAF F111
« on: 20 Mar 2003, 14:04:54 »
This is an F111 from the Australian Air Force that I have been working on.
http://home.iprimus.com.au/dwright1/ausf111_1.jpg

I know the F111 is definetly a pre-1985 aircraft, but since it is still in use with the RAAF I figured I would post here. Its not modern but it is present day.  ;)

Any questions or comments about my addon, just post them here. Not in Army11B's F111 thread that I rudely interupted. Sorry mate.

I would like to have it realesed as a beta test soon, but have no idea on when exactly.

What sort of time frame do you expect for beta test?

Hi I'm from the Air Defence Force mod we're half way through makeing an Australian Fighter Air Craft Pack we've nearly finished making the FA-18 Hornert and we are going to make the f-111.

My proposition is would you like the join the ADF mod so we can release the addon australian fighter addon ASAP.

::Drool:: How about a fuel dump? Would an F-111 model truly be complete without it? YUM!

It's not released yet, a very rough guess for the beta would be 2 to 4 weeks (dont hold me to that though).
It looks quite complete from the pic but it still has alot to do, mostly the additional LOD's and texturing.

I have done a sweeping wing version and will include it, if for nothing else but looks!  ;)

It wont have any weapon stores on the wings, but maybe a couple of bombs in the bomb bay.

Terame - I was going to try and put in a fuel dump, using the same principle that people have used for afterburners.  ;D (only on the swing wing version though)

Coporal_Punishment - will email you soon.

Thanks for the positive response guys!

Thanks Skaircro,

If you are making sweep wings i've got an idea. Make the wings sweep relative to the speed i.e. if you are going fast your wings a sweeped back, but if you slow down your wings expand.
