Why we love OFPEC
« on: 20 Feb 2003, 14:58:16 »
I am not posting this to be a suckup, I am posting this because I have had many missions that I have accomplished exactly the way I aimed for it to be.  I have gotten all the tools I need, not to mention the "correct" files of Oxygen and Bulldozer, I have gained a privalege in showing others my work, in the most professional way possible.

This has been given to all of us, including me, by a group of people. This group has created one of the most trusted tutorials, gave us everyday support, a huge forum database, and even a USERBOARD for crying out loud.

This Web Site is something we call Operation Flashpoint Editing Center.

If I were ever to rate OFPEC, it would #1 in the OFP Web Site list.  This place is like f**cking McDonalds, the minute you pull in, you here a voice say "Welcome, how can I help you?"

Not to mention it seems like there is 24/7 customer service like Store 24 or something.

While this post may seem random, I just decided to post this for any noobs here. ;)

I remember that News Post Wolfsbane made about ordering Pizza and chillin at ofpec...lol
I have yet to try that out but I am sure it's entertaining.

As for the code snippets and scripts....

Dear
Sweet
Jeezus

How in the hell do you guys get all those?
It's a great thing, and it brings a smile to my face,

like this =  ;D

but really, thats a great job!

Not to mention the news updates I have seen here recently!
Your almost on track like ofp.info is with news and stuff!

While the addons depot has not exactly been getting much attention, I am sure it will be back in the biz soon.

Mission Depot has alot of missions in the pending list as I can see.  Not many of those have been updated in the Mission Depot area for download.

Because I am online almost all day when I get home, I think I will sign up to be a mission reviewer.  Maybey, I dunno yet.
But I would be good for the job because I made reviews at Action Arena.com, and posted headline news at OFP Arena.
So I am good to go ;)

OK, Enough with my annoying blabbling..

I am bored, cannot think of anything to do,
so OFPEC is the place to go, when down and blue :P

Hey that rhymed :D !

Could you use the personal messaging system for your private conversations instead of the public forums? Thanks.

ok OFPEC is the greatest site for editing, but if he is the best i think its because ofp community is the best community you can actually find on the web, every people try to helping each other and that is pretty cool !!!
never seen that before, specially not on counter strike (for example)
Long live to ofplayers

I have a theory why OFPEC is so great. Wanna read it?

#HereIsHowYouDoToMakeBushReadOneThingOverAndOverAgain

Ok here it is:

Here it comes:

Hurray, here it is:

? You really wanna hear it? : goto "YesIReallyWannaHearIt"

goto: "HereIsHowYouDoToMakeBushReadOneThingOverAndOverAgain"

#YesIReallyWannaHearIt

 ;D

Here it really is:

When Codemasters and BIS understood that their powerfull editor really could be somethin and that the reason OFP kept alive was the editor they made OFPEC. Firstly they kept it in a hidden server somewhere in the jungle of Ia Drang. But one day, a group of OFPers found the hidden server when they looked at a place to set up their new scripted booby trap. They stole the server and made Codemasters pay 100000$ for it. Codemasters gave them the name of evil, "Admins".
*Classic Music inserted=true*
These Admins soon became close freinds of Codemasters because their skill to edit and their evil powers that theyÂ've got of playing the map "Red Dawn" in 120 hours for some reason cause I hate that map.
*Skiptime=true*
Today they make 100000$/month for keeping the server hidden at all costs at location JB 47 at the island.... WAAAAAAAAAAA SH*T! THEY`VE FOUND MEEEEEEE! RUN!!!! PAPA BEAR!! EVAC POINT!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!

And thats my theory why OFPEC is the best. Cause the Admins get 100000/month in keeping it the best of the reason: OFP is the best and Codemasters/BIS know it.

( ;D )

::) it was hell.... an all-out exhausting avy-war was raging back in '02, and we - the freedom fighters, also known as the OFPECRMF - won the war, not by outgunning the enemy but via stubborn lobbyism, bribe and threats of real-world spank! :afro:

...and the fraggles rule; the muppets are the other part, how it looks now after the defeat!  8) ;D

Yeah that is a thing I am wondering about. What happend to the avatar which OFPEC had for every special person in this forum? The staff had their own, the campaign team had their own and so on. Just wondering as most of those pictures where great.

I am but a humble Newbie, i have OFP, and Red hammer, i have been visiting OFPEC for a year now, and i think it is the best OFP editing site around, i mean you seem to generally want to help people make the best missions, and campaigns.

You are the only site i have visited that doesn't have any broken links!
THANK YOU OFPEC!
