Music in briefing
« on: 12 May 2009, 16:39:18 »
Basically I want to add music to the briefing screen. The problem is that, using "onBriefingPlan" command, the music will stop anytime the player switches section. Is there another way to do that?
How can you shoot women and children?
Easy! Ya' just don't lead'em so much! Ain't war hell?!!

Don't think so  :(

Guess you could add the music/sound to ALL onBriefing variations, group, notes etc.
That way it will be played from start again when you switch.
Only thing I can think of.
And I looked and beheld a pale horse and his name that sat on him was Death and Hell followed with him.

I tried, but it just restarts the music once when you switch section (which is annoying too) but if you switch all the section the music stops again.

Do you mean if the player starts the briefing part by looking at all different sections (flipping around) before reading anything?

In that case... I never do that as a player and think it's a minor issue.

What happens if you have a let's say 60 sec disableUserInput in init.sqf ?
If that works it would unable the player to mess around.

No, I don't like to disable user inputs, he can't even access the menu or exit the mission if he needs to. I'll keep it as it is
