« on: 24 Aug 2002, 02:28:25 »
Simple quedtion.
I know how to get them to do it, but how do I get them to keep doing it.
Any method at this point is welcome.
As long as you explain it please.
Thank you.

You can either put it in a script to get them to do the pushups for as long as you want.

Or give the man a WP that tells him to do them, then give him a few more WPs telling him to do them, one on top of each other.

Waypoints don't work.
And I have no clue how to use or makes scripts.
Could you explain how to make it and use it and so on.
Thank you.

in your 'on activation' field you put

[] exec "pushups.sqs"

go to notepad and start to edit a file named pushups.sqs

#loop
your-pushups-animation-command
~0.7
goto #loop

Not all is lost.

I copied what you got there word for word, and all it did was give me an error at the top of the screen.

EDIT
And yes, I did put in a animation command.

Got one more question to go with this, what is the proper command to have them start diping already, I have tryed FXDiptoDip, That didn't work, so what is it?
I checked the CFG, all I saw was standing to dip, and dip to standing.

Switchmove them? That starts them right away.

ok, major prob right now, I fixed that loop thing, and I placed
FXStandtodip inplace of your-pushups-animation-command.
But nothing happens, no error, but the men do nothing, what is wrong.

Fraid waypoints just don't work with this command.
The idiot either does two pushups if I place one WP, or he does some wierd twiching if I tr to place multiple WP.

YAAAYYYYYYAAYAYA!!!!!
Problem solved, it required using this method, thanks all.

#loop
Wg1 playmove "FXStandDip"
wg2 playmove "FXStandDip"
wg3 playmove "FXStandDip"
wg4 playmove "FXStandDip"
~0.7
goto "loop"

This is the best place to get answers.
Again, thanks all.
