[SOLVED] Disabling Lighthouses

I'm working on a mission where I'd like to be able to have the player turn off a lighthouse building's light via an addAction.  The trouble is I can't find a way to do this.  My first thought was switchLight, but that only seems to apply to streetlamps; in fact, when I tried it on the lighthouse object, it crashed the game.  Any thoughts?

Might be you can place an object covering the lighthouse top, I think ArmA comes with a big black box object, cannot remember the class name.

Interesting idea, but unfortunately, the light seems to shine right through the black cube object...

So what you see all the time is a bright spot at the lighthouse top and then also a visible cone of "light" turning around the building, right?

Correct.  The bright spot isn't really the problem so much as the cone of light.

I can't rightly remember the command, but perhaps you could turn it off like a street light.

The command is switchLight, and that was the first thing I tried.  Unfortunately, all it did was crash the game.

As far as I remember the light goes of if you damage the lighthouse to ~0.9.
If no one shoots at it, it shouldn't be a problem.

True, in fact with 0.91, and then you can fire at the lighthouse as much as you want, it would be really hard to destroy it even starting with a damage level of 0.91.

Excellent resolution.  Simple and practical. 

On a side note:  Would it be possible to keep resetting the Lighthouse Damage to .91 if someone decided to start shooting it. 
...And do the traffic lights in Parasio react the same way?
