This is the first beta of my first MP Mission give it a go and see what you think..

Any help would be gratefully accepted.

OVERVIEW:
---------

Mission Name: Warcries 1.2(reworked into BAS framework)
Game mode: (MP: Coop 17(2-17)
Addon's required: None
Respawn:
Infantry: multiple fixed
Vehicles: respawn in base (except for units at Blue airfield will get more as towns are captured.)





DETAILS:

Difficulty: Varies - teamwork needed !

INSTALLATION:

Standard:
- For Multi Player, copy the pbo file(s) to .\ArmA\MPMissions (installation) folder.


ISSUES:
-------
- No Quick access to towns eg. Parachute etc.. but i think it makes you play a bit more carefully....
- added a few random patrols in towns,changed 4x4 to hmmmv,added a few civilian vehicles in unused towns near fuel stations,added crates for all blufor weapons (miss having the mp5,mp5sd from the AA special crate).
-numerous small tweaks..

Tried this one today, together with Shark attack.

A few comments:
  • What does the hint 'respawn vehicle' mean?
  • It's a long drive, can't you make the base somewhat closer
  • Hummer would be nice, they offer better protection
  • I'd like to see everyone in one squad
  • There are no objectives listed as objective
  • The respawn scripts doesn't work on a dedi. server (3 helicopters spawn at once)
Like missions? Help with Beta Testing! or take a look at the OFPEC Missions Depot for reviewed missions!

got version 1.2 nearly ready ..

Changed 4x4`s to HMMMV.
Respawn Vehicle hint was to indicate a vehicle has respawned (removed)
Everybody starts grouped . Except for Crew and Pilot at airbase.
Base moves closer when a small base is captured.

Hopefully fixed the dedicated server thing ...

Sorry been really busy at work so its slow going.. (also 3 small kids takes up alot of time too).

Anything else people would like let me know...

Have remade into BAS framework.
Respawn is fixed (sorry about that one)

Hi.

I had a bash at this yesterday but it's hopeless with 2 people! We couldn't even get close. Although we did have fun trying...

But, I've now discovered there's an updated link further down the page and I'd downloaded the one in the first post. So, I was going to comment on the respawn vehicle thing but I guess there's not much point. :blink:

Would you be so kind as to edit the first post to the latest version?  :dry:

What I would say though is if you haven't done anything about it is the briefing needs a few clues other than go get the bad guys. What was the marker for the spec ops about? You may be better off testing this with a clan, it needs a good few players to be possible.

Thanks for the feedback..

Edited first Post now Sorry bout that.

With two people its hard but try doinfgthe small towns first.
reworked V1.2 into BAS mission Framework so the briefing is better..

Will look into large scale testing (hard to find the time in the middle of House Renovation,Work,3 small kids.)

Tips:

Dont Take Corazol head on its murder..
Use the Special forces to take out enemy AA,Lase Tanks etc.
Take the small towns first (you will be rewarded back at base.)
