Find out the name of an object
« on: 13 Dec 2005, 15:22:10 »
How do I find the name of an object?

I'm looking for the Dan ger sign from the editor. Isn't there a command which will display the name of the p3d or some such thing?

Is this what you're looking for?

hint format["%1", typeof object xxx]

xxx is the object ID (for map objects) or object name (for editor objcts)

Fixed.   It was the "dang" that was the problem, so I've allowed it.
