Clouds?

How about real clouds?  Set at curtain heights and thickness depending on weather.  Also with the ability to cast shadows on the ground like trees and buildings do, but still able to fly threw them.

I got this idea by playing Lock On the other day and the clouds look so awesome that I think flashpoint needs some.  It really annoys me that no matter how high you fly you can never reach the clouds displayed in the sky.   So how about some 3d scripted addon clouds that work for every island (kinda like the dxdll addon does).

Big fluffy clouds that actually shade the area of land depending on the angle of the sun, and big grey clouds for when its stormy out, but with a smooth transition from cloudy to stormy (no one likes instant tornado clouds seconds after a nice partly cloudy day).

Come on guys, no real textures are need (just white and grey  8)). Lets make OFP as real as we can!

heres a pic to show what Im talking about

And heres 1 of rainy clouds

I think this is as close to the real thing. The sunny weather and clouds are really well done.

@ Cam51

Lock On is a game based around the sky - so the detail is there.

If you go close to the ground (let's be honest here) it looks crap. Its like OFP but reversed.

In OFP, the detail is on the ground with buildings, trees, people etc. but in the air - it looks rubbish.

In Lock On the detail is on what's in the sky (clouds, aircraft etc.) and on the ground it looks rubbish.

@ Silent n Deadly

Although that sky pack is truely incredable, I don't think its what Cam51 is looking for. I think he want's clouds that aren't just pretty to look at but you can interact with (fly above them, use as cover, fly through them).

Anyway, let's face it, the flying in OFP isn't exactly amazing :P
