How about some new houses, like half built ones with framing and plywood and stuff lying around.

Just one week ago i started playing around with o2,
photoshop + everything else to make textures for ofp addons.

Guess what i'm after:

walls (red bricks, desert style, + alot more variants), houses
(more ruined ones than those beautiful ones found during
peace time) and a few xtra objects to fit into military situations.

Well, it'll take a while, until i'm able to report success on my
first addon pack, but as i already made my first few red brick
wall experiments working ingame, it's just a question of patience
and my effort 'till the comunity will be able to do some close quarter battles in a good looking environment  ;)

Off course i got this idea upon the very same thinkings like
you got Roach'ie  ;D

Well since my house is in the middle of construction and the framing is being put up, it'd look cool to have as a enterable building. The scaffolding is already there. Maybe have some thin plywood with damage textures like windows. You can't see the guy, but you can sure as hell shoot up the whole side of the plywood to get him.

Maybe half finished bathrooms exposed to the world where toliets have damga textures as do sinks and tubs.

What other objects for the mlitary are you making Chris?

Well, everything that comes into my mind - not only military
stuff, but ya know sometimes the strangest things can
be found where battles r fought  :D

Well I'm downloading now. I can't mess around with them yet as my PC went crazy and everything has to be rebooted or reinstalled. OFP is still waitin to be reloaded.


Some stupid virus or something. :(

Well I played around with those walls and they're a good start. Don't think you need all the different camos but different sizes is good. Got my jeep over them too!
(Going slow and at 4x speed to rock it over.)

The broken up walls.. The bits where the wall has colapsed seem aufully strait...

About the wall examples - you're totally right DBR_Onix, but
as i already mentioned there - they were my first experiments
one and a half week ago with o2, and i've been happy that time
that i could make them at least like they are.

If i'd continue working on them, i promise they will be lookin
mucho better and i'd also make various versions + more complex
objects (like already mentioned above: intact and ruined buildings, etc.)

It depends on what you mean by: construction mod
3WX/MIA project may be seen as some kind'a construction mod,
but i wouldn't call it a construction mod   (or should i?  :D )
It's a project trying to put various object addons into one addon,
so that it's easier for map makers to release islands with cool looking
stuff, without having to point to dozens of addons to download.

Also - my goal is to start making a lot of various object addons, as
i seem to remember having said at least twice in this thread now lol,
but i wouldn't consider seeing me as a mod  ;D

And one more thingy: i've just started addon making, and i still need
to learn a lot of stuff until you can expect bigger projects from me - it's
just that i thought i've tried almost everything in mission editing and
scripting, and i needed some change of interests to keep my number
one game alive for me.

I can see the pics now, I'm not sure why they didn't show up last time....

Looks sorta like a prison or something. The ladder looks rather big, is that just O2 or whatever you are using? I can see using that for some gunfights, two ways to get to the top floors is always good, in MP I was being teamed up on by two ding dongs in a three ppl dm so I took refuge in a house with an UZI and waited in the third story. Since there is only one way up I popped one in the head on the ladder and got the other through the window. Kept house jumping and ended out beating them, hehehe ::). Point is your relatively safe unless nades, bombs, or various explosive devices and shells from vehicles come into play. One other thing could be AI "passing" through walls. :P

The brick looks good. :)
