Guns in towers

I have  men in towers but they are not so good as they tend to fall out even with a script keeping them in place.
That uses alot of cpu time and in MP it still messes up.
In large towers I put in an MG but it is to big for small towers.

My Idea would be to have a MG without the tripod and limited field of fire so you could just mount it on a wall or in a tower and the man would not turn through is.

I even thought would it be possible to make a hand held weapon so that  you could get in it like the fixed MG so that would also keep them in the towers without script.

I did see a MG somwhere that had no tripod but I lost it and it had 360 deg of movement.

well I couldn't see how they would fall out just by standing there, they would have to be moving, perhaps they go prone and fall out.. if so put this setunitpos "UP" in the init.. Also, you could put his WP over the tower in editor and select one of the positions and he won't move unless told to..
