joining squad ingame..

Hey all again

Anyone know if there is an script/addon that makes u able to
join a squad ingame ?


Ok example.

I make  a mission, None of the players are in a squad.
Anyone of them can start their own squad and people can join him if they want... somehow

If I understand you correctly, you should be able to do that with the join command... Ex. Give the "commanders" an actionmenu that joins the nearest unit.

This is a screen shot of the group management dialog in v2.0 of my mod (due out soon). Once the core files are finished, I will make it available.

It allows you to display any two teams from your side and move units back and forth. Because the join command is tricky, there are some limitations/issues with it.

The only thing a mission editor would need is to place the description.ext info for the dialog, the script, and a trigger into their mission

how do you make ingame interfaces like the one in the screenshot ?
Is it done with scripting ? Do you have any Tutorials on how to do this ?

That is a dialog screen. The best tutorials (and the one I used when I got started) was from http://home.arcor.de/vektorboson/
