SEB Ia Trang Island Swamps?

Are there swamps on this island? I was working on a mission, and decided to use this Island. Started 1.75, and went to work. Was doing some testing, and got my squad and self stuck up to my shoulders, yeah we sunk!

Is this a bug, or something that just happens in 1.75, or are there planned swamps?

Back to the drawing board for me, I guess I'll use jungle everon.

And no, I was not anywhere near the water, or river crossings.

Hmm, it appears that swamps are not intended. What is your Geometric Settings (options- visuals). Is it low, med-low, med, high or very high?

Maybe it's because of the "flood" and he was close to the water!?!

East of the aribase is a small "lake".

Btw, is there a way to stop this "jumping" water with WRPedit or what ever? I know that it also depends on the time but would be nice.

The sinking into the ground is a bug, cause when I edited the land surfaces, hopefully the next version of wrpedit will help prevent this.

Just try in a different location, there alot of areas that do work properly.

Yea i've found a black spot just north of LZ X-ray.....taking my squad out of the zone to avoid anialation by the Capitalist scum, Hueys flyin over head tryin to shoot me up......then i get swamped....And then some GI's pop up and before you know it, your selecting continue or end!

It was NW of LZ X-Ray! Just have to change my LZ!
