This prob seems like a stupid question, but how do u assign a trigger to a certain unit, so that its only activated when that unit passes into it.

You use the group button, just like you were connecting two soldiers, you connnect the trigger to anything on the map.
And you get those nice new selection in the trigger for the acctivation, just pick the appropriate one.

i believe you press F5 (synchronize) and drag trigger line to unit you want triggered. you can do this multiple times. hope that helps and i dont confuse you.
