Great. Fancy pic, maybe a little too big and nice text. Inviting you to play the wonderful mission!
The Intro’s ok. You’re being briefed again, the same stuff. Custom voices and lip movements included.
Now, the Briefing is excellent. Pages of info on your mission with links and all of the mission objectives are listed, telling you what to do, with pics of the pilots, and explaining why you’re going and warning you how important the mission is. I didn’t find any mistakes at all in the briefing. The only part I was disappointed with is there’s no weapon selection. Maybe a sniper rifle and a handgun would be nice. This could easily have gotten a 10.
In the readme the author tells us the production time: one month and a half. Wow. This mission has one of the best plots I’ve ever seen. Seriously. You have to locate two pilots, make sure no one radios in moving the pilots, destroy the A10 the pilots crashed, and try not to shoot any Russian soldiers just the rebels (not easy), and much more.
But there are a couple of things I’d like to see. The briefing says you will be parachuted by Cessnas. Sadly you start off on the ground without a Cessna in sight. Besides that and the fact that there’s no audio with the radio (just text) this mission is perfect. The author also allows the mission to be played out 9 different ways so you’ll never get bored.
I don’t want to spoil anything so I’ll stop there. After a lot of thinking, I decided this mission deserves an 8/10 maybe even a 9. Captain Winters deserves a pat on the back. Great job, Winters! So what’re you waiting for?!? Start playing!
