[OFP] Hunter-Killer by The Pheonix

Overview

The Overview has a graphic "shoulder flash" but covers 2 pages, a little scrappy here but all relevant info is available.

Intro

The Intro for this mission is well above average and has a good feeling of realism. Only one minor point and that is: in a combat situation I doubt troop evac under fire would be carried out in careless mode.

Briefing

The Briefing is complete and has working links and some nice touches with tutorials on how to direct arty fire and designate targets.

Mission

Ok, fly around the battlefield offering support and spotting for infantry and artillery. This seems to work pretty well, however targeting and adjusting fire can be a pain sometimes.

Special

All in all a nice little mission which offers the player "something different" from the norm.

Overall

(Review Date: Jun 2002) If you are looking for something different then maybe you could give this a try. On its own merits it is a worthwhile mission, although the chopper can be a little difficult to fly at very low altitudes (under 25 feet), it is not quite my cup of tea. This should not deter you from trying it if you are looking for a different approach to the game.
