Overview

The overview consists of the regular picture plus text combination... the picture is a very clear and looks really good, the text is very short... and could be extended a little. The overview also includes author name and version number.

Intro

The intro builds up the background of the story very neatly, it is told from a civilian narrator's point of view. Some of the camera angles used in the intro are very good. The music that is played fits nicely with the intro that otherwise plays with muted sound

Briefing

It explains exactly what you need to do in the mission, with an extra page that shows the current layout of the friendly and enemy forces in the area. The notes section is a small diary entry made by the player's character. All the positions mentioned in the briefing are connected to markers, and all the markers work just fine. The weapons selection is good and the author tried to limit it only to what a squad may have carried with it in the baggage of it's vehicles. The squad you start with consists of 8 soldiers, and the author has split them well with differences of rank and skills.

Mission

In the mission the player takes lead of a squad that has been on a patrol and has to move around the map as problem-solver for each situation that suddenly apears. The first objective sends the player into some hectic defensive fighting that will require good use of AT weapons, the base layout is good with other squads helping the players squad on the defence, the objective is a little bit too easy once you figure it out, from there on the player is sent around the map to trample the offensive of the SLA and after that destroy their secret weapons... what happens after is for you to find out. The timing and the reaction of some of the AI squads could be improved but all in all, it seems that everything works right, and there's nothing that should spoil the missions experience.

Outro(s)

The outro has the same civilian narrator summing up the story with some nice background music. The camera itself is just static showing the US army on its way to assault a town.

Special

The hectic feeling at the start of the mission really helps the atmosphere, and there is a surprise along the way that adds to the story.

Overall

The mission is fun and has a nice twist in the plot. The atmosphere is well created and the briefing is nothing less than you would expect from a serious mission, the scripting is lacking though, and could have been improved.
