I found the Mavinas mod to be very innacurate. Paras using the L1A2 (which was the carbine version, if I'm not mistaken) that had a full auto setting? Way too many units armed with L2A3 Sterlings or L3A3 Stirlings (Supressed) too.

It'd be interesting to see how they portray the British and Argentinians in their campaign too, at least for this gawky 17 year old British waster  ;)

British Paras used the L1A1 SLR but it didn't have a full auto setting..

The Argentine FN FN-50-61 (FN FAL) however did but it was almost impossible to control when firing on full auto...

As for the L2A3 SMG.. It was usually higher ranks who carried them..

The Silenced version of the L2A3 (The L34A1) was used almost exclusively by the Argentine commandos & special forces such as the Buzo Tactico during the initial stages of the conflict. The British SBS also used them and the Ar-15 during behind enemy lines activities...

I knew the SLR was semi-automatic only, but I was unsure about the carbine one. And I was pretty damn sure the Paras used the full-size one anyway.

It's all gone quiet on the Falklands Mod front...

Come on, I'm dying to give those island-invading cads a taste of my British spunk...

.... on second thoughts, a stiff kicking will do. I know I shouldn't have watched all that Blackadder Goes Forth last night, it's twisted my already quite warped mind  :)

I really like the Huey cockpit, especially the night shot, I can see those gauges spinning wildly as Supa ploughs it into a clump of trees  ;D
